The 2026 PAL Awards Gala, held on June 2, brought together Philadelphia’s civic leaders, educators, advocates, and supporters to celebrate leadership, service, and lasting community impact. The evening highlighted a shared commitment to empowering young people and strengthening neighborhoods across the city.

Thanks to your generosity and partnership, the event raised over $1 million, directly supporting PAL’s youth development, education, mentorship, and community-based programs. Your support helps PAL continue providing safe spaces, meaningful opportunities, and positive experiences for youth and families throughout Philadelphia.

This year, PAL was proud to honor an inspiring group of leaders and changemakers: Hallee Adelman, documentary filmmaker, children’s author, and educator; Joseph G. Cacchione, MD, CEO of Jefferson; Ray Pennacchia, Senior Vice President of Select Medical Outpatient Division of NovaCare and longtime PAL Board member; and Officer Joseph Ellerby, recipient of the 2026 Lew Klein PAL Officer of the Year Award.
