PAL is community policing at its best – a unique public/private partnership combining a specially trained unit of the Philadelphia Police Department and a non-profit working together to enrich the lives of Philadelphia youth.

At PAL, we create free, safe, and fun spaces for young people ages 6-18. Several former PAL kids have important roles on both the Police and civilian sides of the organization, and we are proud to be a direct representation of the work we do in the community.

Every PAL center is directed by at least one on-duty Police officer supported by civilian staff and volunteers all mentoring and guiding children to take advantage of every opportunity to become future leaders.
