On Monday, June 20th PAL welcomed Lt. Evelyn Cintron as our new Commanding Officer.

Lt. Cintron comes to PAL with 26 years’ experience in law enforcement.  After beginning her career in the Philadelphia Prison System, she joined the Philadelphia Police Department in 1998 where she has served for the past 18 plus years.

Lt. Cintron worked in the 35th and 15th Police Districts before working in the Advanced Training Unit and the Police Academy.  Most recently she served as Administrative Lieutenant in the 25th Police District where she supervised more than 200 officers, coordinated the East Division’s Police Explorers program, and represented the Department on a host of community and advisory boards.

Former PAL Commanding Officer Lt. William Eddis has been tapped by Central Detectives to help lead their efforts to make Philadelphia a safer City.  We thank Lt. Eddis for his three plus years of dedication and service to PAL.  It has been a time filled with exciting progress on many fronts.  We wish him well in his new role with Central Detectives and thank him for his career of service to Philadelphians, and especially his commitment to the children of our City.
