Mayor Michael Nutter welcomes Wissinoming PAL youngsters to the celebration

Operation Brotherly Love volunteers assist youth from Oxford Circle PAL

More than 400 PAL youngsters and their families were treated to a day of fun and holiday cheer through Wawa’s Operation Brotherly Love event on December 15, 2012. PAL youngsters from the Harrowgate, Tacony, Oxford Circle, Wissinoming, Cozen, Bluford, Hartranft, Southwest and Paley PAL centers enjoyed a day of carnival games and activities complete with new coats, presents, food and family gift cards. Attendees also had a special visit from Mayor Michael Nutter, as well as a number of their favorite Disney characters. This holiday celebration was provided to youngsters and families completely free of charge.

PAL extends heartfelt thanks to its friends at Wawa who provided an extraordinary opportunity for so many families. Thank you for your commitment to PAL’s mission of “Cops Helping Kids”, and bringing hundreds of families throughout Philadelphia together to share a joyous event and holiday cheer.
