PAL’s annual Lenfest Chess Program provided an opportunity for more than 150 inner-city children and teens to experience the game of chess and all that goes along with it- strategy, discipline and reason. Youngsters competed to be crowned the PAL Chess Champion in three age groups, 18 and under, 15 and under, and 12 and under. The program is presented through the generous sponsorship of the H. Chase and Ana Maria Lenfest Foundation.
