Rizzo PAL Center

Named after former Mayor and Police Commissioner Frank Rizzo, Rizzo PAL has been serving the Port Richmond community since the late 1960s.  One of PAL’s most active centers, Rizzo PAL serves over 1,500 kids and teens.  Officer Ernie Rehr, Rizzo’s longtime Center Director, is a household name in the local community, and has been honored year after year with community leadership awards.  Rizzo is a beacon of hope in the neighborhood it serves. Rizzo PAL is also home to PAL’s Wrestling Program – one of the best programs in the City, and where many notable Philadelphia wrestlers got their start in the sport. Rizzo PAL is a part of PAL’s Adopt-a-Center Program, and is adopted by Harvey and Sylvia Nisenbaum.
