Southwest PAL Crowned US Airways PAL Challenge Champions

After eight weeks of rigorous studying, teams of sixth through eighth graders from every PAL center in Philadelphia participated in academic competitions in hopes of being named US Airways PAL Challenge champions. Youngsters played in four regionals and a final competition at Temple University. Advancing through very close matches, Southwest PAL came out victorious to be crowned this year’s winner.

Jennifer Joyce of 6ABC moderated the final round as participants were quizzed in subjects including Science, American Presidents, Math, Philadelphia, World Landmarks and more. Jennifer then joined a team of US Airways executives to play a fun game against Southwest PAL. The very close match came down to the last question, but Southwest remained on top.
